Time's Changing

Life.
It's something
That can't be stopped.

But what if it could be?
What then?
What if you could
Stop life
Forever?

Freeze one moment,
And live in it
Forever.

Would you choose
Something so
Lovely-
Wonderful?

Or would it end up
Being something
Terrible-
Death-complying?

What would it be to you?
I think,
To me,
It would be
A blessing.
Or maybe...
A curse?

How can something-
Something foreign
Like this,
Be determined
By how you feel...
If you can't know what-
What it's like,
Before you try it?

That's just it.
We don't try-
Try new things
Unless we get input.

Input of what?
From whom?
Exactly.
We can't know.
Never.

Unless...
Maybe-
Just maybe
We could know.

Just once,
You could know-
Know what would happen,
If you were
The first
To try something
New.

But would you-
Would you try something
New-
Old-
Current?

Or would you choose-
Choose to go back-
Go back to the past?
With all of the love
And the pain-
The heartbreak...

The tears,
That haunt you
Forever-
From that past.
Would you really freeze it?

What if you could-
Could freeze a moment?
But-
But it had to be
The past-
The present-
Or the future.

What if-
You didn't like what you saw?
What then?
Would you want to go back,
And change
What you already had?

Would you
Change time
If you could?

Or would you
Let it be?

A Little Birdy's Old Tale

Red. The clear, swift river has been contaminated with it. The small little stream is now flowing with it. The red color of blood stains his coat. His beautiful white fur is being desecrated with the awful color. Red is the color of blood. It contaminates, pollutes, spreads. And that is why the color of red, it is the color I hate.

"Henry!!" I nuzzle his neck with my nose, not seeing his chest rise and fall like it normally does when he breathes. I look down to his side and see a large splotch of red that has begun to spread all over his pure white coat. I sit down on my haunches in the river and wait for him to get up, even though somewhere deep inside of me I know he won't.

The snap of a twig makes me turn in the direction of the forest. I bare my teeth and let out a deep growl, meeting the hunter's eyes with my glowing green ones. I take one step over Henry, standing over him so that I can protect him. The hunter takes a step out in the open and aims his gun at me.

I lunge at him, but when an arm wraps around me, I begin to fight the man holding me down. I thrash about in his arms and he lets me go, but when I look up at him, I feel as though I know him. Then, I notice what about him seems familiar. His hair...

I hear another loud shot fire through the air and I immediately think of Henry as a heavy amount of pressure emanating from my chest begins to spread throughout my body. I am vaguely aware of the smell of fresh water filling my nostrils and the feeling of something wet running down the side of my face. I close my eyes as I begin to feel sleepy, and when I open them again, I feel...different.

I stand up and look around for the hunter, but I don't see him anywhere. "It's as though that idiotic hunter was never here..." I walk over to the edge of the woods and look to see if I can see the hunter, just to make sure that he's gone. That's when I notice that I am much taller than I was before. And I see that my fur is now some sort of fleshy substance instead of it being gray and... well, furry.

When I look down, there is some blue things on my legs that cover them completely and across my chest is a gray thing that covers my arms and reaches down past the top of the blue things. Something is covering my feet and they look like the things the hunter was wearing. "Jeans. Sweater. Boots." I look over to the man who spoke and I smile at him.

The white zip-up sweater that he's wearing compliments his bright-blue eyes and the blue jeans make his white hair look even whiter. The brown boots he's wearing are wet from the stream, but it seems as though he doesn't really care. I shrug and look away from him, smiling to myself as I gently run my fingers over the bark of the tree. "It's like there was a hunter inside of me all along. A human, I mean..."

The sound of someone whistling fills my ears and when I look over to see who it is, I see the man who was holding me down earlier. He's whistling to some birds.

One of the little birdies flies over to me and lands on my shoulder. "Hey there, little birdie... What did he tell you?"

"He told me that he... He loves you." Henry walks over to me and scoops me up in his arms, pressing his lips to mine.

"It's true. I do love you." I smile as he presses his cheek into my hair, and for some odd reason, I don't even really care or want to know what just went on because Henry and I are together and somehow human. And that's all that matters to me.

"I love you too." We sit in the snow as Henry hums the song that he sings to the birdies, and that's when I realize that the birdies shouldn't even have been near the river. So why was that little birdie here..? I shrug and rest my head on Henry's shoulder as he wraps his arm around my waist, pulling me close to him. I look up at the sky and somehow I know that this is the start of something new, something wonderful.

Old post

I don't know how many people saw my old post, but this was at the bottom :)

By the way, all of you people out there who don't know what I'm talking about or have never felt anything towards anyone else, let me just tell you. You're loved. You're not invisible and there's nothing anyone can do about it. You're here. And there's someone out there, I bet really close to you, that loves you more than anything - and you just don't know it. Things are hidden out there, and then again, some things aren't so hidden. But whether they are or whether they aren't, there is someone out there who cares. :) Like me, that's why I wrote this. I care <3

Let's talk about this...

Have I ever told you my definition of love? Well, here it is. Love is caring about someone to the point of where you no longer care what happens to yourself, as long as the one next to you is safe. Love is feeling something so strong for him or for her, that when you are out of their presence, your heart aches and your soul yearns to be closer to them.

Now, how does love start? How do you get all of these feelings in the first place? Well, that would be a very good question for someone who gives you advice. But, I guess since I'n here, you'll have to look at this ;)

All right, so... For starters, let's talk about the "crush." Someone who gives you twitterpation in your heart when you look at them - all of those little butterflies begin to fly around in your stomach. You're at a loss for words with one look, and when he or when she stares into your eyes, your heart stops beating for a minute. You can't breathe. That's a crush. -- <3 Now, to talk to them and actually get to know them, you have to become their friend (which leads to the friend-zone) OR If you don't really care about how well you know them before you go out with them, I suggest you just go for it - ask them out.

Then, there's the "getting out of the friend-zone." So, friend-zones... I'm actually one of the people that is initiating this right now, but I have a reason and it's a pretty good one at that (but that is another story). Okay, so back to friend-zones. Basically, this is when one of your friends suddenly seems "appealing," so to say, to you. You begin to get clammy hands and you start to sweat when you see them because your mind has wandered off to what it would be like to spend the rest of your life with him or with her. The friend-zone is something that is very hard to get out of, and it takes a long time to understand what's going on and how you're feeling. But once you realize your heart's true intentions (wow, that sounds cheesy), you should understand what to do. Gradually leave hints, or ask one of their friends to help you out. Find out if they like you back before going and pouring out your heart and soul and leaving everything on the table for them to see. They could either take it and hold your heart in their hands, or they could take a knife and stab it, twisting it deep into you. -- :( The friend-zone is not really a good place to be -- :/ But I have tried to get a few examples for you to be able to understand how to handle this.

Next is "the hottie." There's not much to this one, other than when you look at them, they make you drool because they're so hot. ;) Haha... Normally, this is one of those people that you keep a distance from because they make you nervous, but if you do wanna go for it, just go all out. Ask them to go with you! :)

Okay, so back to more serious stuff... This next category is "love." How do you know if it's love? Well, let me give you a few examples. One, scientifically, if your crush lasts for more than three months, it's love!! (blah blah blah and more science-y stuff) :P Anyways, the way you know it's love... They're all you think about. Every time you see them, your face lights up and they make your day just a bit brighter. When you're near him or near her, there's nothing to hide. You can cry, laugh, smile, frown with each other, and the other is just there to be with you, to listen and to hold you. Someone who really cares, cares about you, not about themselves. You watch their back, they watch yours - that's how it works. When you love someone, there's no "second-guessing" it. You know all you need to know. There's not a doubt in your mind that he or she is "the one."

So, you may be asking why I decided to write this... The answer? I don't really know. I feel like some of you guys out there might be confused about some stuff. Now, do I follow my own advice? Why, that's a completely different post to be made ;)

And by the way, all of you people out there who don't know what I'm talking about or have never felt anything towards anyone else, let me just tell you. I care <3

A Little Birdy Once Told Me A Tale

I walk through the cold stream, my fur icing over each time I lift my paws out of the little stream. "You know, Henry, I think we should stop walking in the stream." Henry looks over at me and growls, baring his teeth at me.

"Oh, smart one! That wouldn't give away our location at all! They would smell us in an instant!" I narrow my eyes at Henry and he just continues to walk down the stream. I roll my eyes at him and look down at my paws, not liking how the ice on my paws covers the gray streaks that wind up my legs from my paws.

"Henry, can we-"

"No." I growl and run up ahead of him, knowing that he always likes to be the leader. I look back behind me once I have run a few hundred feet, but he is not there. Where did he..? Before I can take one more step, Henry is in front of me, looming over me.

"Henry..?"

"Why do you always have to disobey me and do stuff like that?! You know it gets on my nerves!!" I whimper and my ears fall back against my head. Henry growls at me and bares his teeth as he walks circles around me.

"Henry, I'm sorry." He shakes his head and begins walking forward.

"Well, I'll only accept your apology because I..." His voice trails off and then he mumbles something inaudible to me. I shrug and begin to walk behind him, but as we travel, I notice something different about Henry. He plays with the birds and talks to me like he thinks I am worth something, instead of eating the birds and being mean to me.

He whispers something to one of the birds, all the while looking at me. He smiles as the little bird flies over to me and lands on my neck. "Hello, little birdy. What did he say to you?"

"He told me to tell you that he... He loves you." My eyes widen and when I look down at my reflection, I see that they are glowing an emerald green. The little bird flies off and when I look back up, Henry begins to walk towards me.

"Did the bird tell you?" I nod and Henry smiles, but before I can say anything, Henry jumps to the side of me. A loud bang sounds and Henry falls to the ground, collapsing in a heap of fur.

Wait for the next chapter to find out what happens to Henry...
